You’re offline, but every Efiwe page you’ve loaded — including this one — is still available.

One Click Comes to Firefox

One Click is now available on Firefox, giving Firefox users the same AI-powered job application tool that Chrome users already have, with a redesigned CV upload experience, more reliable CV downloads, and a new resizable window that stays open while you work. Efiwe today announced that One Click, its free AI-powered job application tool, now works on Firefox. Everything Chrome users already rely on comes with it: upload your CV once, and One Click fills out job application forms for you, writes tailored cover letters, improves your CV, tracks every application you send, and prepares you for interviews. Firefox users now get all of it.

Efiwe Brings Human-Sounding Voice to ‘Read Aloud’ Through an ElevenLabs Grant

Efiwe learners now hear lessons read in a natural, human-sounding voice, following the award of an ElevenLabs Grant. Word-by-word highlighting continues to follow the voice as it reads, and on phones the page now scrolls gently to keep the spoken words on screen. The premium voice is unlimited for Efiwe Pro subscribers and members of paid group plans, and available once every five minutes to everyone else, including learners who are not signed in. The change is live across the entire platform. Efiwe today announced a rebuilt ‘Read Aloud’ experience, following the selection of Efiwe to receive an ElevenLabs Grant. Until now, Read Aloud used the speech engine built into the learner’s browser or phone, which reads text competently but audibly as a machine.

Efiwe Named to TechCrunch’s 2026 Startup Battlefield 200

Efiwe has been selected for the 2026 Startup Battlefield 200, TechCrunch’s annual handpicked list of the 200 most promising early-stage startups in the world. The company was chosen from thousands of applications spanning every industry and geography, and appears in the Edtech category alongside nine other education companies. The selection means Efiwe will exhibit at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026, taking place October 13–15 at Moscone West in San Francisco. Battlefield companies demo their technology across all three days of the show, pitch in front of tier-one investors and global media, and compete for a $100,000 equity-free prize and the Disrupt Cup. The top 20 finalists from the 200 will be revealed live on Day 1.

Efiwe Launches PHP: The Language That Runs Most of the Web

HP runs a large share of the websites people use every day. It sits behind content management systems, online stores, membership sites, school portals, and countless small business websites that quietly keep working year after year. It is also, for a lot of developers, the first language that ever paid them. With this launch, Efiwe’s curriculum now spans seven courses: HTML for structure, CSS for design, JavaScript for interactivity, Tailwind for professional styling, Python for logic and automation, SQL for working with data, and now PHP for building the server side of the web. The PHP course is built around 435 challenges spanning 157 easy, 182 intermediate, and 96 advanced challenges, making it one of the largest course on Efiwe to date, right after the JavaScript course.

Efiwe and SUFF Initiative Are Partnering to Bring Coding Education to Underserved Youth in Bauchi State

Efiwe, the offline-capable AI coding platform, is partnering with SkillUp for the Future Initiative (SUFF Initiative) to bring mobile-first coding education to secondary school students, young women, and underserved youth across Bauchi State, Northern Nigeria. SUFF Initiative is a grassroots organisation based in Bauchi, focused on youth empowerment, digital inclusion, and practical skill acquisition. Its programmes already equip young people with skills across AI automation, web development, video editing, content creation, digital communication, and graphic design, with the explicit goal of turning passive technology users into creators and problem-solvers. What consistently limited how far those programmes could go into coding was infrastructure. Laptops, stable broadband, and English-first learning materials are not neutral requirements in Bauchi. They are filters.
