Refund Policy

At Efiwe, our mission is to make coding education accessible, enjoyable, and affordable for learners everywhere. Most of Efiwe’s core learning experience — including interactive challenges, AI-powered feedback, offline learning, and access to all courses — is 100% free. However, certain optional paid features are available. This policy explains how refunds work for those paid features.

1. Free Learning Features

Efiwe’s core platform is completely free, including:

  • Access to all coding challenges
  • Offline learning
  • AI-driven personalized feedback
  • Voice-based learning
  • Support for 189 languages

Since these features cost nothing, refunds do not apply to the free core platform.

2. Refunds for Efiwe Certificates

Efiwe offers optional verifiable Certificates of Completion for learners who choose to purchase them.

You may request a refund for a certificate purchase only if:

  • You were charged but did not receive access to the certificate; or
  • The certificate issued to you contains a technical error that prevents verification; and
  • You report the issue within 7 days of purchase.

Refunds will not be issued if:

  • You change your mind after receiving the certificate
  • You completed the course and later decide you no longer want the certificate
  • The certificate accurately reflects your learning progress

To request a refund, contact support at support@efiwe.com with your:

  • Full name
  • Email used on Efiwe
  • Transaction ID or screenshot
  • Description of the issue

3. Refunds for Purchases of Lives or In-App Learning Benefits

Efiwe includes gamified learning features such as lives, streaks, and reward systems to boost motivation.

Refunds for lives or similar consumable digital items are only eligible if:

  • The purchase was duplicated due to a payment error, or
  • You were charged but the items were not added to your account;
  • You report the issue within 48 hours of the transaction.

Refunds will not be granted for:

  • Lives that were used
  • Accidental depletion of lives
  • Changing your mind after purchase
  • Dissatisfaction with gameplay difficulty

4. Group Account Payments (Schools, NGOs, Bootcamps)

If you created a Group Account and made a payment for certificates or similar add-on services:

You may be eligible for a refund only if:

  • Your group was charged but did not receive access to the purchased items; or
  • There was a technical failure preventing delivery; and
  • The issue is reported within 7 days of payment.

No refunds are provided for:

  • Progress dissatisfaction
  • Misuse of group features
  • Changes in group size or participation after purchase

5. Payment Issues and Unauthorized Charges

If you believe you were charged in error or without authorization:

  • Contact us immediately at support@efiwe.com
  • Provide your email, payment receipt, and description of the issue

Efiwe will investigate and, where applicable, issue a full refund.

6. How Refunds Are Processed

Refunds are returned to the original payment method used.

Processing times vary by bank/payment provider, typically 5–10 business days.

Efiwe cannot issue refunds to alternative accounts or payment channels.
