One Click has been updated with an Application Tracker that automatically logs every auto-filled job application and lets users manage their full job search pipeline, an Interview Prep mode that generates AI-powered interview questions from any job description, and full integration with Efiwe’s newly launched Python course so verified Python skills are reflected in applications and cover letters.

Efiwe today announced three significant upgrades to One Click, its free AI-powered Chrome extension for job seekers. The updates introduce an Application Tracker for managing the complete job search pipeline from first application to final outcome, an Interview Prep mode that transforms any job description into a personalised set of likely interview questions, and integration with Efiwe’s Python course, bringing verified Python challenge completions into the extension’s profile system alongside HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Tailwind.
The Application Tracker gives One Click users a built-in system for managing the full arc of a job search, not just the moment of applying. Every time the extension auto-fills a job application form, it automatically creates a record in the tracker, capturing the company name, role, the direct URL of the application page, the date applied, and a note confirming how many fields were filled. No manual input is required. Users can also log applications themselves using a simple form inside the extension, covering jobs they applied to through other means. As each application progresses, users can update its status as Applied, Interviewing, Offer, Rejected, or Withdrawn, giving them a real-time picture of where every opportunity stands. Each saved application displays the full job URL as a clickable link, making it easy to return to the original posting at any point.
“Most job seekers are managing ten, twenty, sometimes thirty open applications at once,” said Chidi Nwaogu, Co-founder and CTO of Efiwe. “Without a system, things fall through the cracks. You forget where you applied, you miss follow-ups, you lose track of which roles are still active. The tracker fixes that automatically. Every application One Click helps you submit is recorded the moment it happens.”
The Interview Prep mode addresses the stage that follows a successful application. Once a user receives an interview invitation, they can open the Interview Prep screen inside One Click, paste the job description for the role, and optionally select a focus area, such as technical, behavioural, leadership, or culture fit. The AI generates eight interview questions tailored specifically to that role, each paired with a coaching tip on how to approach the answer effectively. Questions are colour-coded by category so users can see at a glance what kind of preparation each one requires. The full set can be regenerated with a single tap or copied to the clipboard for use in external notes or preparation documents.
“Submitting a strong application is only half the work,” Nwaogu added. “The other half is walking into the interview ready. Interview Prep closes that gap by turning any job description into a personalised preparation guide in under a minute.”
The third upgrade completes One Click’s alignment with Efiwe’s full five-course curriculum. With the launch of the Python course on May 25, 2026, Efiwe’s first back-end language, featuring 420 challenges across easy, intermediate, and advanced difficulty tiers, One Click now reads a user’s verified Python challenge completions directly from their Efiwe account. This data appears in the extension’s course stats bar alongside completions in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Tailwind, and is automatically woven into auto-filled applications and AI-generated cover letters wherever Python skills are relevant to the role being applied for. No additional setup is required.
All three One Click upgrades are available immediately and free to all users. One Click is available atefiwe.com/oneclick.
