You’re offline, but every Efiwe page you’ve loaded — including this one — is still available.

Efiwe Pro Is Here: No Ads, Unlimited Cloud AI, and a Completely New Way to Learn

Efiwe has always been free. Every challenge, every program, every line of AI-powered feedback; all of it, free. That hasn’t changed. But today, for learners who want more, Efiwe Pro is officially here.

Efiwe was built on a straightforward belief: that the best coding education in the world should not cost anything to access. Millions of learners across Africa and beyond have taken Efiwe up on that promise, and it remains the foundation of everything the platform does. But over time, a clear pattern emerged. A certain kind of learner; one who is serious, consistent, and pushing toward a goal, kept running into moments where the free experience, good as it was, had edges. The cloud-based AI needed a moment to recover before they could ask another question. An ad interrupted them right when they were thinking hard. A certificate sat just out of reach. Efiwe Pro exists to sand down every one of those edges.

What Efiwe Pro actually is

Efiwe Pro is a subscription that makes the platform feel like it was built exclusively for you. It is available monthly, or yearly at the price of ten months; a straightforward saving for anyone who knows they are in this for the long run.

The moment a learner subscribes, three things change immediately.

The first is the ads. They disappear. Not hidden, not moved, but gone. Every advertisement across every page of the platform is removed the instant your subscription activates. What remains is the learning: clean, uninterrupted, and entirely focused on the challenge in front of you. For anyone who has ever lost a train of thought mid-lesson because something flashed in the corner of their screen, this alone is worth it.

The second is Efiwe 2.0, the cloud-based AI. Efiwe’s AI tutor; the one that reads your code, spots your mistakes, gives you hints, diagnoses what went wrong, and walks you through the logic, has always been available to every learner. For unsubscribed users, it operates on a five-minute cooldown between uses, a fair limit that keeps the service sustainable. Pro subscribers have no cooldown at all. Use Efiwe 2.0 as many times as you need, back to back, across every single challenge. For a learner deep in a difficult problem, that freedom is significant.

The third is the certificate. Efiwe awards verifiable certificates upon course completion; certificates that can be checked with a QR code and that carry real weight. Standalone certificates have always been available for purchase. For Pro subscribers, that purchase is no longer necessary. Complete a course, and your certificate is simply there, included.

The lives system, reimagined for serious learners

Efiwe uses lives to keep the learning honest. Submit a wrong answer, lose some lives. Reach zero, and the game-over screen appears. It is a mechanic borrowed from gaming, and for most learners it works well; it creates stakes, encourages careful thinking, and makes a correct answer feel genuinely earned.

For Pro subscribers, that mechanic is retired. Wrong answers do not cost lives. The game-over screen never appears. The lives counter fades to a quiet grey, a small visual signal that you are operating without limits.

This is not about making learning easier. The challenges are identical for every learner, regardless of subscription status. It is about removing the psychological pressure that comes with the fear of running out. A learner who is not afraid of failing is more likely to try things, more likely to experiment, and more likely to actually understand what they are doing rather than simply avoiding mistakes.

Two extra features that change how learning feels

On the same day that Efiwe Pro launches, two other features are going live for all learners, subscribed or not, because they address something more fundamental than any single product feature: the feeling of learning alone.

The first is a leaderboard that actually reflects where you stand. Until now, Efiwe showed a top-ten list. If you were outside it, the leaderboard told you nothing about yourself. That changes today. Every learner can now see their exact rank among everyone on the platform, not just the top ten, but all of it. Whether you are ranked eleventh or one thousand two hundred and thirty-first, that number is yours, it is real, and it moves when you do. Progress is motivating even when you are not first, and sometimes especially then.

The second feature shows you who else is on the same challenge as you, right now. On every challenge in every program, a small banner tells you which other learners are working through the same challenge at the same moment. Not as a competition, but as company. Learning to code is hard, and the hardest part is often not the code itself but the feeling that you are the only one struggling with it. Seeing that others are in the exact same place, at the exact same time, changes that. It turns a solitary exercise into something closer to a shared one.

These two features exist because the moment learning starts to feel lonely is often the moment people stop. Efiwe is making sure that moment never arrives.

Efiwe now speaks 189 languages everywhere it exists

There is one more thing launching today, and it may be the most far-reaching of all.

Efiwe’s main web platform has offered 189-language translation for some time. Learners who speak Hausa, Yoruba, French, Swahili, Portuguese, or any of 184 other languages have been able to experience the full platform in the language they think in. But until today, that experience stopped at the edge of the web application. Developers building with Efiwe’s API, businesses using the JavaScript SDK, learners reaching the platform through the WhatsApp bot or the Messenger bot; none of them had access to that same depth of localisation. That gap is now closed.

Native language translation is now live across Efiwe’s Open API, JavaScript SDK, WhatsApp bot, and Messenger bot. Every part of the learning experience that exists outside the main web application; every API response, every SDK interaction, every bot conversation, is now available in 189 languages, automatically, with no configuration required. For developers and partners embedding Efiwe into their own products, nothing changes on their end. The system handles it.

Talent is everywhere.
Today, Efiwe is a little more everywhere too.
