New interactive feature allows users to visualize their creations in augmented reality, transforming coding exercises into immersive, real-world experiences directly from their devices.

Efiwe, the mobile-first coding education platform, today announced the launch of AR Preview, a new feature that allows learners to instantly view their creations in augmented reality, bringing their code off the screen and into the physical world.
The feature addresses a key challenge in beginner programming education: helping learners understand how code translates into real visual experiences. While traditional coding environments only show output in a browser window, AR Preview allows learners to project their work into their surroundings, making abstract concepts more tangible and engaging.
“At the beginning of their journey, many learners struggle to connect lines of code with what actually appears on a page,” said Chidi Nwaogu, Co-founder and CTO of Efiwe. “AR Preview closes that gap. Instead of imagining how their code works, learners can literally see it appear in their environment.”
The feature operates through a lightweight augmented reality integration embedded directly into Efiwe’s learning environment. When activated, the system generates a real-time AR representation of the learner’s current code output. This allows students to position and explore their creations in physical space, turning ordinary coding exercises into interactive visual experiences.
By combining coding with spatial visualization, AR Preview helps reinforce the relationship between structure, layout, and presentation in coding. Learners can experiment with elements, layouts, and styling while observing how changes affect the rendered result in real time.
“We want coding to feel less like staring at text and more like building something real,” Nwaogu added. “When learners see their code appear in front of them through augmented reality, it makes the entire experience more concrete, more memorable, and far more exciting.”
The AR Preview feature is integrated directly into Efiwe’s learning interface and can be activated instantly during coding challenges. Beyond engagement, the company sees AR Preview as part of a broader effort to rethink how coding is taught on mobile devices. By blending programming with immersive technologies, Efiwe aims to make learning more interactive, intuitive, and accessible to learners around the world.
This feature is available starting today within Efiwe’s learning environment and works directly on supported devices through the platform’s built-in AR preview system.
